1987, Movie, NR, 95 mins

An Australian action drama starring Carmen Duncan as Eve, a mother with a 15-year-old daughter, Chrissie (Annie Jones), and a secret past as a German terrorist, not to mention piles of old robbery loot in her bank account. Into her life comes Riley (Michael Aitkens), her ex-lover and an IRA killer. He is trying to avoid his former colleagues after having killed one while refusing to blow up an intended target's innocent family. Aitkens looks like Rutger Hauer and Duncan like Sybil Danning, and both give quality performances. This film is technically superb in the manner of the British spy dramas and also surprisingly tense. leave a comment
