Will Two-Face Return for More Bat Action?

Aaron Eckhart by Junko Kimura/Getty Images

It turns out Two-Face was a one-time deal. Aaron Eckhart says his villainous Dark Knight alter ego is "dead as a doornail" following his construction site plunge and will not pop up in future Christopher Nolan Bat-flicks.

"He ain't comin' back, baby," he told E! Online. "I asked Chris that question. He goes, 'You're dead.' Before I could even get the question out of my mouth, 'Hey Chris, am I...' 'You're dead.'"

One person who was supposed to come back though? Heath Ledger's Joker, Eckhart confirmed.

As for future bad guys (and gals), Cher's name has been tossed around as Catwoman, but Eckhart would prefer another Oscar winner to inherit Michelle Pfeiffer's purr-fect leather catsuit: Angelina Jolie.

"I thought that was a great idea," he said. "I'd like to be in that one."
