I saw a TV-movie in the late '70s/early '80s about a boy who accidentally kills a girl who lives up the street, and then he and his mom seal off a room in his house so he can hide from the police. His mother then dies outside the house, and an unsuspecting family moves in. Do you have any idea what the name of the film is and where I can get hold of it?
Answer: Stump me? Far from it — Bad Ronald (1974) is one of a handful of made-for-TV movies from the '70s and '80s that people write to me about all the time. It clearly creeped the hell out of a generation, which is why it amazes me that it's never been available on VHS or DVD, though you can find bootlegs online.
