Kristen Bell will star in the musical drama Burlesque as Christina Aguilera's rival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Screen Gems' film follows the journey of an ambitious small-town girl, played by Aguilera, as she tries to find love and success in a Los Angeles Bob Fosse-esque burlesque club.
Trio of ladies going on Couples Retreat
Like Chicago's Velma Kelly, Bell's character, Nikki, spirals out of control when Aguilera's character captures the spotlight at the club.
Cher and Stanley Tucci also star in the film, which begins production on Nov. 9 and is slated for Thanksgiving 2010 release.
