MGM has green-lit a new thriller written by
Buffy,
Angel and
Dollhouse creator
Joss Whedon titled
The Cabin in the Woods. It was co-written and will be directed by
Cloverfield scribe Drew Goddard.
Whedon and Goddard worked together on
Buffy and
Angel. Of course, the plot is under wraps, but judging from their collective sci-fi/horror pedigrees, I'm guessing this won't be a
relaxing trip to the titular cabin.
