Aniston, Bateman to Make a Baby Together

Jason Bateman is going to father Jennifer Aniston's child — onscreen. The actors have signed on to star in the baby-making romantic comedy The Baster, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
Aniston will star as Kassie, a woman who decides to undergo artificial insemination. When her BFF Wally (Bateman) learns of this, he swaps the donor sperm with his own, unbeknownst to Kassie.
The script is by Allan Loeb (21), who adapted the tale from a New Yorker short story by Jeffrey Eugenides. Blades of Glory helmers Will Speck and Josh Gordon will direct, with production set to start in New York in the spring.
