When the Wildcats resurface on the big screen, look for a few new faces amid the familiar. Following an exhaustive international search involving over 1,000 teens, three young actors have been added to the cast of
High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Who's destined to secure a place on many a young 'uns bedroom wall? The new additions - each playing a sophomore at East High School - are Matt Prokop, whose credits include
Hannah Montana and
The Office; Justin Martin, who recently appeared in ABC's
A Raisin in the Sun; and Jemma McKenzie-Brown, a British lass who had a supporting role in the BBC's
The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard.
"These talented performers will bring lots of humor, new twists and musical fun to the film," says director Kenny Ortega. "Jemma... impressed us with her singing and dancing. Matt has a terrific personality, and a great sense of comedy. And Justin has great presence and charisma." -
