Question: You helped me out once by figuring out that a movie I vaguely remembered was called Scream and Scream Again, so now I have another question. All I remember about this movie is that it's set on a train and that zombies or monsters on horseback chase it down and kill everyone. The only survivor is a woman who hid in the coal car, and when the authorities find the train, her hair has turned white from fright.
Answer: That would be Tombs of the Blind Dead (1971), the first of a series of low-budget Spanish movies about resurrected Templars, 13th-century knights who were accused (correctly, in this film's version of history) of worshipping Satan, conducting human sacrifices and all kinds of other wickedness. They were blinded before they were executed and when they rise from their tombs, they're still sightless, which doesn't stop them from terrorizing various unfortunates. It was followed by Return of the Blind Dead (1973), Horror of the Zombies (1974) and Night of the Seagulls (1975).
