Sharpen those fangs, Moonlight fans, because Alex O'Loughlin is close to booking a new big-screen appearance.
The Aussie actor, who starred at Mick St. John on CBS' cult vampire hit, is in talks to play the male lead in Jennifer Lopez's Back-Up Plan, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Back-Up stars J.Lo as a woman who visits the local sperm bank in the absence of a main squeeze. But of course, her plan is upended when she meets the man of her dreams — the same day she learns she's pregnant.
If O'Loughlin inks a deal, Back-Up could mean an even busier spring for him. The hunky thesp is also appearing in Whiteout, opposite Kate Beckinsale, and he was just cast in the CBS pilot Three Rivers.
