Posey and Knoxville Dig into Fruitcake

In a pairing that only John Waters could think up, recent Jezebel alum Parker Posey and Jackass mastermind Johnny Knoxville are joining the cast of Fruitcake. Knoxville previously appeared in Waters' A Dirty Shame.

The new film, due out next Christmas, is mostly under wrap(ping)s, so to speak, but is said to focus on the story of a boy named for his favorite dessert. After his family is caught shoplifting meat during the holidays, he runs away and encounters a runaway girl, being raised by two gay men, who's out searching for her biological mother.
