New 3-D Life for Dawn of the Dead
George A. Romero's classic thriller
Dawn of the Dead is returning to theaters in 3-D.
Each frame of the 1978 horror is being "dimensionalized" so that various objects in the frame are moved forward or backward from the screen.
Up to now,
Tim Burton's The Night Before Christmas is the only film to be digitally enhanced to stereoscopic 3-D.
There are currently just over 1,000 theaters in the U.S. with 3-D digital screens with more on the way. -
