Is Leonardo DiCaprio Entering The Twilight Zone?

Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, Appian Way, and Warner Bros. are on the lookout for material for a feature-length spin on the classic TV series The Twilight Zone.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio and production company are quietly seeking out pitches and scripts for development. However, rather than follow the formula of the last big-screen attempt in 1983, which served as a remake of three episodes, the companies hope to build one continuing storyline based on one or more of the old episodes.

Warner Bros. owns the rights to the episodes written by Rod Serling, which makes up the majority of the series' five-year run. Other attempts to update the show include CBS' 1994 TV movie and a short-lived series on UPN in 2002.

DiCaprio's interest is most likely based on the fact that he has cited The Twilight Zone as his favorite show. Are you ready to get in the Zone? - Adam Bryant
