G! U! Y! S! What Does That Spell? A New Disney Movie!

Anne Fletcher and Adam Shankman by Jean Baptiste Lacroix/ WireImage.com
Disney knows a good thing when it sees it, and the
High School Musical dance-movie phenomenon isn't dead 'til Disney says it's dead (or 'til the cheese factor starts making even tweens kind of nauseous). Thus, the studio is making plans for
Matadors, a new movie about male cheerleaders.
Choreographer-turned-director
Anne Fletcher will direct, with
So You Think You Can Dance's moonlighter, Adam Shankman, producing with Jennifer Gibgot. Fletcher was once a Laker girl, and says she has an eye for a die-hard fandom. She tells the
Reporter that she'll be looking for guys of all shapes, sizes and, ostensibly, dance moves.
Casting has yet to begin, but that doesn't stop us from suggesting a few picks:
Channing Tatum (Who cares about "acting?" Didn't anyone
drool over see
Step Up?), Twitch ('Nuff said) and, for their team coaches: Usher and Justin Timberlake.
Who would be your picks?
- Anna Dimond
