Demi Moore Feels the Indie Love

Demi Moore is giving love to the indie movie scene, stepping into roles in two new independent flicks.

In the first, Happy Tears, Moore plays the sister of Parker Posey, whose narcissistic character comes home to Wisconsin to see her father, who has dementia, and her bitter sister, who lives with him and has had it with Dad, says the Reporter.

The second film, Bunraku, follows a man, played by hottie Josh Hartnett, who's on a quest to get revenge, but encounters bigger problems than he anticipated. In the flick, Moore takes a less realistic turn as an enslaved concubine for a warlord who is forced into marriage with him. Woody Harrelson plays a bartender in the movie, because, obviously, even warlords need a beer after a tough day.

Can you picture Moore taking a turn for the indies? And when is she going to star opposite her man Ashton? Now that would be a movie. - Anna Dimond
