Brandon Routh to Star in Dead of Night

Brandon Routh will once again be playing a comic book hero, but this time sans spandex. The Superman Returns star has landed the lead in Dead of Night, a Kevin Munroe-directed film based on the Italian comic-book series Dylan Dog, says Variety. Routh will play a P.I. who investigates nightmares and quickly finds himself mixed up with the undead.

Routh should have ample preparation for the role - he will appear this summer in an episode of NBC's Fear Itself horror anthology. - Adam Bryant
