Box Office: WALL-E Is Wanted More Than Angelina

WALL-E topped the weekend box office, opening with $62.5 million. The G-rated pic easily bested the well-received though R-rated
Wanted, which debuted with an impressive $51.1 mil.

Rounding out the top five were last week's champ,
Get Smart ($20 million),
Kung Fu Panda ($11.7 mil) and
The Incredible Hulk ($9.2 mil).
All told, this weekend's top 12 films took in 22 percent more dollars than the same timeframe a year ago. This summer to date, the box office is up six percent.
