The Mountain Road: Review

Uninspired Stewart vehicle set in China during WW II. Stewart is a US Army major whose first command is to head an eight-man demolition team that is to destroy bridges and roads vital to the Japanese. Joined by two Chinese, Lu and Silvera, Stewart blows up a mountain bridge. Though the destruction of the pass is a strategic success, the military move leaves thousands of Chinese homeless.
