The Weavers (not to be confused with the folksinging group) were a discovery from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee They had enough popularity to warrant a film series in the late 1930s and early 1940s. In this support-the-war effort, the boys start a farm as their contribution.
Problems stem from a local school which seems to be run by snobs for snobby children. Of course the boys' cornpone charm is enough to handle these people, and all is well in a predictably happy ending.
