McGuire saves this otherwise routine comedy with her performance as a young woman who catches a terrible cold and must visit a doctor (Lundigan). They fall in love at first sight and soon after, marry. McGuire finds that it is difficult being the neglected wife of a doctor and has trouble
adjusting to his long hours and female patients. Though she tries hard, she makes many mistakes, much to the annoyance of Lundigan's doting mother, Landis. When Lundigan's new assistant tries to seduce him, McGuire goes on a rampage and saves the marriage.
