An arty film that looks at the lives of two couples. The first episode has a young man picking up his girl friend, a dancer, at the nightclub where she works and taking her to the Thames where they play cat-and-mouse with each other's feelings. The second features a lonely married woman
left to contend with a new-born while her husband is off partying with a male buddy. The two episodes are tied together by a drowning. The filmmakers seem to be making a plea for more emotion in our lives, but their film is curiously lifeless, with camera moves that are too flashy for their own
good.
