A fairy tale in every sense of the word, this is slow-moving trifle despite its solid cast. Sharif is a prince in 17th-century Spain whose mother, Del Rio, wants him to marry one of the local girls and settle down. Sharif wants no part of the scheme and takes off for a ride in the forest.
