Maudlin soaper starring Love as a young secretary whose lecherous boss installs her in a luxurious apartment while he retains a set of keys. When Love runs into childhood sweetheart Holland, she blows town and returns to her hometown with him to start her life over. Unfortunately, pressures from home (destitute family, likable kid brother in trouble) force her to return to the big city to provide for the family. Holland, of course, eventually figures out what her living arrangement really means. There is much recrimination and sobbing until the predictable happy ending occurs. leave a comment
