Moonrunners

In this poor action comedy an old moonshiner, Hunnicutt, and his two daredevil nephews, Mitchum and Martin, try to stay one step in front of the federal revenuers and a New York mob, which wants to take over their illicit business. This overlong film, which includes a number of car chases and crashes, was later adapted into the TV series "The Dukes of Hazzard." This is one of the last films Arthur Hunnicutt made. Kiel Martin is better known as one of the ensemble actors in TV's "Hill Street Blues." Actor James Mitchum is one of Robert Mitchum's sons.
