Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life

For their fourth film, the "Monty Python" troupe reverted to the vignette structure used in their first (and weakest) feature, AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. While the sketches are loosely structured to convey elements of life (e.g., birth, education, sex, food, the military, and death), the film is uneven and disconnected. It gets off to a promising start with a marvelous pre-credit sequence depicting a British financial building being raided by swashbuckling pirates and turned (literally) into a giant ship.
