Karloff, an elderly fellow concerned with keeping his nursery open, gets involved in a kidnaping case. Narcotics investigator Marzi is tracking a gang of smugglers who are operating from a small island. In an attempt to get him off their trail, the gang abducts Marzi's daughter (Remiddi).
