Filmed in India and set against the backdrop of the title weather condition, the story concerns a betrothed couple, Douglas and Nader, who travel to an isolated village to meet Douglas' family. Nader falls for Thiess, Douglas' sister, prompting Douglas' attempted suicide. Nader returns to his fiancee and Thiess takes off to the hills, hoping to die, knowing she will never love again. When a film has to rely on bad weather, the viewer should sense trouble. leave a comment
