This standard suspense film from Mervyn LeRoy casts Seberg as the lonely wife of Hill, who is always away giving psychiatric lectures. In his absence, Seberg begins an affair with young naval officer Garrison. A quarrel between the two ends with the accidental shooting of Garrison.
