Mohawk

Set along the east coast before this country won its independence, this "eastern" western casts Brady as the heroic Boston artist who is more than popular with the ladies. He's got Mohawk princess Gam after him, as well as Bostonian Nelson and barmaid Hayes. When he's commissioned to paint some landscapes for a Massachusetts Indian society, he gets entangled in a conflict between the redskins and the settlers of Mohawk Valley. The trouble stems from greedy land-grabber Hoyt, who killed the son of a Mohawk chief. It takes the death of Indian warrior Brand at the hands of Brady to put an end to the conflict.
