After being exposed to some nuclear waste, overworked traffic controller Chase discovers he has telekinetic powers and uses them to settle old scores. The supporting players keep this picture from falling completely flat, with Place, Coleman, and Doyle-Murray contributing funny turns.
Otherwise, the humor is forced, which didn't prevent the film from grossing more than $15 million in its first release.
