Apparently the rather dubious goal here was to prove to that young women can be just as sexist, obnoxious, and stupid as the young men in the teen sex comedies that plagued movie screens in the 70s and 80s. The makers of MODERN GIRLS have warped a fairly likable cast to fit the basic sleaziness of the story.
