Powell and Blondell, who teamed successfully in so many musicals for Warner Bros., shifted studios for this cute comedy. The two are secret spouses employed in a snobbish salon. Their couturier employer, Watson, has a strict rule: she employs only the unmarried. The undercover couple develop a passion for progeny, but are unable to afford the associated expenses, particularly when their jobs are at hazard. Blondell's proposed pregnancy would certainly come to the fore; the shop does not deal with maternity clothes which she might model.
