The first American film from French director Demy is an interesting look at 24 hours in a young man's life. Lockwood is a 26-year-old Los Angeles architect. Aware that he is about to be drafted, he quits his dull job designing gas pipes and marks his limited time. His girl friend, Hay, is an ambitious actress who doesn't understand his fears.
