Low-key comic charmer of '50s mobsters and a moll with something extra. Red Hook, Brooklyn, 1957: Eternally exasperated George (David Proval) is a small-time collector for capo Joey "The Heart" Aorta (Tony Sirico). Playing optimistic Lenny to practical George is the gentle Dip (the priceless Dan Moran), who dreams of building a better drinking straw. When Aorta's birthday rolls around and the forgetful duo gets caught unawares, George scrambles for a gift to outdo those of the other mobsters, who have a sentimental penchant for things like personalized brass knuckles.
