Routine whodunit has Blondell and Brent as the leads in this overly confusing tale of a murder mystery with a number of possible culprits. By trying to maintain a fast pace, the direction loses much of the suspense. The vast array of characters and situations also makes it next to impossible to follow what is going on. Blondell and Brent do the best they can with the material given, but all in a vain attempt. leave a comment
