Relatively low-budget, though well-crafted, picture that uses a western setting to deliver a moralistic message. Reason plays a rugged minister who takes over the church in a broken-down town. The main source of income for its inhabitants stems from a mine owned by a former prostitute, Gerson, who is bitter over the way the townspeople treated her in the past.
