An extremely witty, well-paced screwball comedy which still plays beautifully. The always wonderful Claudette Colbert stars as a struggling Paris showgirl who's hired by wealthy John Barrymore to distract the gigolo (Francis Lederer) he feels is paying a little too much attention to his wife (Mary Astor). Don Ameche costars as a taxi driver who has fallen in love with Colbert, and frankly, who wouldn't? Read the complete review for Midnight
