Midnight

Nancy (Melanie Verlin) runs away from home after her father, Bert (Lawrence Tierney), tries to rape her. She is picked up by two young men as she heads for California and made a captive of a Devil-worshipping family. They plan to sacrifice her at midnight on Easter Sunday, but Bert shows up to save his daughter. Written and directed by John Russo, who wrote the script for George A. Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, and boasting special effects by Tom Savini, this film is something of a disappointment.
