This piece of teenage junk is distinguished only in that it was the first film produced by Walt Disney that doesn't carry the Disney name--perhaps because it's such a dud. Los Angeles college student Leon (Alan Solomon) has spent a year devising the ultimate scavenger hunt and persuades enough of his classmates to play that they can be divided into five color-coded teams: Nerds (white), jocks (green), soroity babes (red), nice guys (yellow) and cheaters (blue). The game begins at midnight, ends at dawn and sends the rival teams scurrying all over Los Angeles in search of clues. The film lacks the usual juvenile raunch, but it also lacks brains in telling its story of an all-night scavenger hunt, involving a lot of dumb jokes and predictable situations. leave a comment
