Midnight Alibi: Review

Barthelmess is a gambler who gets entangled with the mob and hides out in the apartment of Lowell. Lowell is an old spinster who has lived in seclusion for most of her life because of a failed romance as a young woman. The mob boss, his big brother, is killed and Barthelmess is arrested for the crime. Lowell comes to court and perjures herself, telling the judge that the gambler was with her the night of the crime. leave a comment
