A misty-eyed story involving the adventures of a 10-year-old newsboy who is eternally devoted to his disabled sister. The two are orphaned, which makes them a convenient charity case for a local woman going through a sticky divorce. She takes in the pair to prove her worth to the courts but ends up falling for the moppets.
