Deeply indebted to the films of Woody Allen, MIAMI RHAPSODY is a comedy of contemporary manners that's never less than entertaining and often genuinely funny. Gwyn Marcus (Sarah Jessica Parker) is an affluent young woman with love trouble. It's not so much her own romantic life that's the problem -- she's engaged to a dreamy zoologist (Gil Bellows) for whom most girls would kill -- as it is her family's.
