A likable adventure romp which begins in India and then takes off to China, showcasing some glorious locations as well as MGM's two big box-office stars. Gable is in Bombay posing as an insurance detective for Lloyd's of London, while Russell is pretending to be a friend of the royal family. In actuality, both are jewel thieves intent on stealing a priceless diamond necklace belonging to duchess Ralph.
