When Bentley is assigned to supervise the first Mombasa-to-Uganda railroad construction project, he finds the job riddled with hazards. Not only must he deal with the threat of lions, but he must also put up with Marshall, a missionary doctor who demands to be taken along. The project is
finished by film's end, and Bentley and Marshall decide to marry. This film was the first coproduction of Kenya and Britain.
