Moran plays a woman with a shady past who is being blackmailed by Varconi as she makes plans to marry a senator's son. She meets and becomes friendly with bootlegger Bickford, who offers to put a stop to Varconi's scheming. His methods are a little strong as he ends up killing the count and
goes on trial for murder. Moran must decide whether to risk her reputation by testifying on Bickford's behalf, giving the real story of what happened, or let her savior go to the chair. She saves him and they end up a happy couple. Good acting and some nice shots of Paris and New York make this a
worthy drama.
