A convoluted, brilliantly executed tour de force, this tale of murder and revenge from British director Christopher Nolan (Insomnia) is reflected in the shattered memory of a amnesiac (Guy Pearce) who's out to avenge the murder of his wife. The catch? He can only remember things for few minutes after they happen. In a stroke of genius, Nolan puts the viewer in the same predicament by telling the entire story backwards.
