Following 1973's ALVIN PURPLE (the largest-grossing Aussie film of the time) and ALVIN RIDES AGAIN (1974), this sequel is even less funny than its predecessors. The 18-year-old son of Alvin is played by Sont, a lad who's inherited his dad's animal magnetism but is scared of women. He
does, however, find himself at ease with Psillakis, a lovely usherette at the local movie theater. A weak subplot has television journalist Bursill and cameraman Argue doing a news story on the reunion between Sont and his father. A stale, unfunny film that should have died back in 1974 along with
ALVIN RIDES AGAIN.
