A change of pace for the Dr. Christian series has the medico (Hersholt) letting up on his practice and concentrating, instead, on trying to reunite a divorced couple. Wray is a music teacher, with a violin virtuoso son (Standish), who takes a job as a nurse for Hersholt to supplement her income.
