Downs is a bellhop with high hopes of starting a tap dance routine with Frazee, whose millionaire father doesn't care for the idea. Eventually he comes around and sponsors the radio show that they appear on. It is a less than average musical entry, but in comparison with most of
Republic's earlier musicals, it's a gem. It does feature a couple of near look-alikes with Frazee bearing more than a passing resemblance to Lana Turner and Lee reminding one of a young Judy Garland. The chatty Allen was previously known to radio listeners as Vera Vague. Musical numbers include:
