Megaforce: Review
A smash-'em-up futuristic fantasy about a near-defenseless little country being invaded by a technologically advanced superpower. In an inexplicable bit of casting, Barry Bostwick stars as Ace Hunter, the jumpsuited pilot of a flying motorcycle. Well over $20 million was spent to create a film full of sound and fury but without an inkling of intelligence. Former stuntman Hal Needham, who also guided several action pictures starring Burt Reynolds, directed this megaflop.
