Loosely based on the real-life career of Vera Lynn, the "Forces' Sweetheart" of British troops in WW II, WE'LL MEET AGAIN follows Lynn's career as an aspiring singer to her rise as a BBC radio star. Along the way she falls in love with Gray, a Scottish soldier, but the romance ends when he falls for her best friend. She leaves London and devotes her talents to entertaining military forces through Europe. A fine morale booster which served its purpose in 1942. leave a comment
